Wish List Drive: Collect items from Safe Haven’s wish list. Share our flyers and set up collection boxes at your workplace, place of worship, or another location in the community.

The Favorite Challenge: Give up one of your favorites (going out for coffee, lunch, etc.) for a month. Set the money aside that you would have spent and donate it to Safe Haven. Share about your efforts on social media!

Change for Change: Collect loose change from your purchases from a month and donate it to Safe Haven. Every donation makes a difference.

In Lieu of a Gift: Make a donation to Safe Haven in someone’s name. Safe Haven will send that person a card to commemorate your gift.

There are various ways businesses may support Safe Haven including event sponsorships, quarterly or monthly giving, year-end giving, hosting a third party fundraiser, and volunteering.

Cause Marketing is another avenue for businesses to support Safe Haven Ministries. Cause marketing allows a for-profit business and nonprofit to work together for mutual benefit. By partnering your brand with Safe Haven, you make a statement that giving back matters!

If you are interested in collaborating with Safe Haven on a Cause Marketing campaign, we invite you to reach out. To begin, please note a few of our guidelines, which will be discussed in more detail upon meeting with a staff member.

• Until a fully executed agreement is received by the organization, use of Safe Haven’s name, logo, or any of its licensed marks is strictly prohibited.
• Safe Haven does not endorse or promote any company’s products or services.
• For cause-related marketing programs and promotions created to support Safe Haven, a minimum 10 percent contribution of the product or service’s retail price is recommended.
• Please be advised that Safe Haven does not sell, loan, or distribute its mailing list or email addresses to any company or individual.
• Safe Haven reserves the right to refuse agreements that do not uphold the mission, vision and values into our organization.
• Safe Haven operates under the Better Business Bureau guidelines for charitable giving. These guidelines require clear disclosure to the consumer, including disclosure of the exact portion of the purchase price that will go to Safe Haven from the sale of a product or service.

Create a Legacy through planned giving. By designating Safe Haven in your will, trust, annuities or insurance policy you will support Safe Haven into the future and honor a cause you care about.

Having a will is one of the most important things you can do to protect the people and causes you love. Planned gifts and IRA distributions may also offer tax advantages. If you are not sure how to begin, we encourage you to reach out to a financial advisor and get started!
