The incident on Rollaway Drive Northeast in Plainfield Township is being treated as an attempted murder-suicide, authorities confirmed, and is part of a troubling trend nationwide involving intimate partner violence.
A man died in the explosion and a woman was taken to the hospital in critical condition, according to the Kent County Sheriff’s Office.
