Whether you are a volunteer, intern or new employee, we are excited to have you on Safe Haven’s team! At Safe Haven, we value training and education because it is a way to ensure we do our best in serving our community. 

Staff and interns are required to attend three trainings: New Entry; Domestic Violence & Anti-Trafficking Seminar; and Human Trafficking Seminar. Volunteers are required to attend New Entry and Domestic Violence & Anti-Trafficking Seminar. During this training, you will learn more about our mission, our philosophy around serving clients, strategies for prevention, and build skills to help you succeed in your role. 

For interns and staff, these trainings are required within 100 days of your start date. For volunteers, you must complete your required trainings before you can start your role.
